Jasper Philipsen sprinted to a powerful win at Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne the day before today, making improvements to on his third-place end at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad the day prior to.

The light was once beginning to weaken on Sunday afternoon when the Belgian fast-man in spite of everything rolled into the post-race interview zone to talk to the media. All over this time, I spent a couple of mins looking at his motorbike prior to he was once whisked away once more.

Philipsen raced to the win on his group factor Canyon Aeroad CFR, extensively thought to be to be one of the most best possible highway motorcycles. Canyon has subsidized Alpecin-Deceunick for a number of years now.

It is a slightly inventory setup, however there are a couple of attention-grabbing main points to be seen. Philipsen, like his teammates, rides the Aeroad CFR with a Dura-Ace groupset, Dura-Ace C50 wheels and Canyon completing equipment. The group switched from Vittoria tyres right through the wintry weather to Pirelli P 0 TLR RS tubeless fashions, and Philipsen received on 30mm tyres at Kuurne.

The motorbike was once lined in race splatter and was once UCI safety tagged post-race, however had a ‘2’ sticky label subsequent to the Philipsen best tube identify sticky label. Did the Belgian win on his number-two race motorbike?
